Who is this character?

I’m Brett Huff. I’ve lived most of my life in the Mountain West, currently residing in Idaho. The short stint living outside the Mountain West was when I was serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Italy and Malta. I’m a devoted husband and homeschooling father of 5. Although my kids would try to convince you that our cats, chickens, horses, and cows are also my kids.

My career to this point in my life has been in Software Development, Engineering Management, paper pushing, and grave digging. The notable places I’ve worked are at Trello, Goldman Sachs, and Evergreen Cemetery. You’re now seeing the phase where I shift into creative works. My current endeavors are sci-fi/fantasy writing and writing down all of my analytical thoughts about the gospel.

On this site you’ll find a couple of things that will change more frequently. I’ll frequently update the Applied Gospel blog with new thoughts on life. I’ll also update the project progress page regularly. And you can follow my social media accounts to keep a little more up to date if that’s your style.

I also welcome conversation. Until I get something more significant set up, feel free to email me at just-to-chat@brettrhuff.com.
