I’m one of those crazy people who likes to speak. Sometimes I’m actually quite good at it. Chances are, I would like to speak to your group.
My most common format is 20-40 people for 30-50 minutes in a highly interactive session. I’ve also spoken a number of times in front of 200-300 people. In technical circles I usually talk about soft skills and ways of thinking. Many people are much more expert than I in various technologies, so I leave the Haskell and Hadoop talks to them.
Most recently I spoke at Surge about Tradeoffs: How to Make Hard Decisions.
Recently I’ve been developing talks on:
- Remote Culture isn’t worse, just different
- Office Politics: The Good Parts
- Tradeoffs: How to make hard decisions
